evOAK Premium Dark Roasted Oak Chips deliver intense flavor with pronounced spiciness, caramel, toffee and chocolate. The result of innovative toasting, this chip has an aroma that is rich and complex, making it an excellent match for red wines.
Tests indicate higher levels of oak tannin, hmf, 5-methyl furfural (creamier caramelized sugars), vanillin and 4-methyl guaiacol (spiciness) with lower levels of guaiacol (smoke).
